Consumer Goods

We offer tier-one design & contract manufacturing for OEM companies and printing & assembly automation under the brand name Grauel.

We'd like to shed some light on the following cases, where we proudly show some of our work within the Consumer Goods branche with our customers Heineken, IPN and Newell.

Our Customer Heineken

Our Solution
We develope our Customer Heineken’s production lines for producing special packaging within the hospitality industry and private label markets. Combining high-tech assembly lines with welding and leak-testing methods for plastics.

The partnership between AAE and Heineken began 20 years ago. Our experienced craftsmen are specialised in working in close cooperation with our Customers. Due to our early involvement, we are able to help our Customer Heineken during the concept stage, this ensures us that we always achieve an end-result with the best solutions and the highest quality. It has resulted in us forging a unique collaboration in which expertise is paramount for the development and validation of production machines.

Our Customer IPN

Our Solution
When it comes to the assembly of dosing valves for the beverage industry, plastic welding and leakage testing are essential. Our high-tech Grauel machines integrate both technologies on an Indexed Motion System (IMS). The valve is assembled from five plastic components that are fed by vibratory feeders and put together at a speed of 60 parts per minute.

In the beverage packaging industry we need to market our new product designs within a very limited timeframe. That’s why we chose AAE.

From our Customer IPN

Our Customer Newell

Our Solution
AAE developed and manufactured a printing and packaging system for the famous Sharpie markers. The Grauel CMS (Continuous Motion System) prints and packs the Sharpie barrels at a speed of 550 parts per minute in two colours, including flame pre-treatment, offset printing and UV curing. This piece of high-speed equipment enables our customers to respond quickly to the strong seasonal market demand.

I'm extremely proud to collaborate with our customers on optimising their core production, ensuring the continuation of their key production processes for now and future years.

Development and Engineering 1

Development & Engineering

The mechanical engineers within our engineering department develop tooling for manufacturing complex parts and assemblies. Our system engineers translate the product requirements into system development specifications for functional and dedicated qualification tools. Our goal is to have all AAE products comply with the specifications our customers require.

Machine Platforms

Automation Platforms

We provide turnkey, custom-made printing and assembly automations under the brandname Grauel. By offering various automation platforms, Continuous Motion (CMS), Indexing Motion System (IMS) and Flexible Motion System (FMS), we are able to provide our customers with tailor fit solutions.

  • Linear indexing
This platform offers you both great operator accessibility and a small footprint (LCS).
  • Round indexing
If the number of automation processes is limited, we apply round indexing tables.
  • Flexible Motion System
The Flexible Motion System does what it says: it guarantees maximum flexibility! The key in FMS is the fact that the product carriers are independently controlled, which enables processing of different cycle times within one machine.

Printing & Assembly Technologies

  • Inkjet Printing
  • Dry-offset / Flexo
  • Pad Printing
  • Laser Marking
  • Welding
  • Vision Inspection
  • Leak Testing
  • Labelling
  • Capping
Product Lifecycle Management

Product Lifecycle Management

After the validation of the product design, industrialisation of the manufacturing process is key to securing continuous delivery of your product.

After installation, your machine is in the safe hands of our service department. We support you with periodic operator training, maintenance and improvements or spare parts. We keep a log of all machines. In our feasibility centre, we can simulate your process and create product print samples for you.

I do everything to enable our customers to reach their objectives with our machines, so they look back with satisfaction to their collaboration with AAE.
