1992 - 60 Employees
AAE moves to its current location in Helmond. With a strong focus on engineering and machine manufacturing, it seems like something beautiful is sprouting in Helmond.
Grauel GmbH joins the AAE group in 1995 and with CEO William Pijnenburg in charge, AAE's growth and development is in full swing.
2000 - 100 Employees
The year 2000 marks a special milestone when our Grauel GmbH machine manufacturing departments moves from Berlin, Germany to Helmond, the Netherlands.
It's also the year when AAE, now 'AAE - The Art of Mechatronics' expands it's hightech premises with, among other things, a brand new cleanroom.
There is no higher form of entrepreneurship than developing, innovating and selling this on a global scale.

2013 - 170 Employees
In 2013 AAE, now with 170 employees, is expanding rapidly. The company premisis grows as well, for example, the iconic company restaurant is built this year, where still to this day our people eat, laugh and relax together.
AAE makes it's first appearance on the silver screen in throughout the Netherlands in 2014. Together with Rabobank, AAE creates a commercial that is focussed on supporting learning and development of our next generation.
This year is also a first for the 'Hotspot Hightech Helmond - the Peel' which is organised for the very first time at AAE.

2016 - 190 Employees
After William Pijnenburg's passing, Frank Mulders became AAE's new CEO. While the Pijnenburg family became shareholders of the company.
AAE tripples it's manufacturing and production capacity by acquiring a second location a stones throw away from it's headquarters in Helmond. It's biggest expansion to date takes off on the Varenschut.
The complexity of our products and services is high. Only collaboration and teamwork makes it possible for us to bring this to life.

AAE 'Pushing Technical Boundaries' officially opens it's doors at the Varenschut and expands it's hightech cleanroom to twice it's former size.
This is celebrated during 'Familiedag 2019'. With over 1700 friends and family members of our employees AAE opens tomorrows workplace and presents it's brand new website.
